PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling feeder for transplanter, enabling multi-ridge planting by few workers through feeding seedlings separated in a row and dividing seedlings fed into a seedling-receiving section at a position into four portions and delivering them to a seedling planting device. SOLUTION: This seedling feeder has the following structure: the seedling- receiving section 3 at a position is mounted with a pair of left and right seedling-receiving belts 4a and 4b turning oppositely to each other, respective seedling transfer belts 30a and 30b are provided to adjoin the exits of the seedling-receiving belts 4a and 4b, there are provided seedling-dividing devices 34a and 34b for alternately dividing left and right the seedlings P conveyed by the belts 30a and 30b, and both left and right sides of the pair of left and right seedling-dividing devices 34a and 34b are coupled with respective seedling planting devices 40a and 40b and 40c and 40d.
