PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment device capable of suppressing an amount of medicine to be administered in a living body.SOLUTION: A treatment device including an inflatable closure balloon 2 disposed near a distal end of an elongate shaft 1 is inserted into a living body lumen, and the closure balloon 2 is inflated to close the adjacency of an affected area in the living body lumen filled with a water component W and to form a closed chamber 17 in the living body lumen.
