PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus which hardly brings about nonuniformity of temperature within a detection surface of a detection panel which is caused by the heat conducted from a top plate of a casing, even when an ISS method is adopted.SOLUTION: In an electronic cassette 21 which is the radiation imaging apparatus of a portable type, the top plate 27, an anisotropic heat conduction plate 59, the detection panel 35 and a scintillator 61 are disposed in this order from the irradiation side of X rays. The scintillator 61 converts into light the X rays transmitted through the top plate 27, the anisotropic heat conduction plate 59 and the detection panel 35, and the detection panel 35 performs photoelectric conversion of the converted light. The anisotropic heat conduction plate 59 comprises a carbon material of which the fiber direction of carbon fibers is made the direction of heat exhaustion, and when the body temperature of a subject is conducted to the top plate 27, it transmits the heat in the direction of heat exhaustion to be radiated so that the heat may not be conducted to the detection panel 35. Thus the occurrence of the nonuniformity of temperature in the detection panel 35 is suppressed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】ISS方式を採用した場合でも、筐体の天板から伝わる熱に起因する、検出パネルの検出面内における温度むらが生じにくい放射線撮影装置を提供する。【解決手段】可搬型の放射線撮影装置である電子カセッテ21は、X線の照射側から、天板27、異方性熱伝導板59、検出パネル35及びシンチレータ61が配置されている。シンチレータ61は、天板27、異方性熱伝導板59及び検出パネル35を透過したX線を光に変換し、検出パネル35は変換された光を光電変換する。異方性熱伝導板59は、炭素繊維の繊維方向が排熱方向とされたカーボン材料からなり、天板27に被検者の体温等が伝わったときにその熱を排熱方向に伝達して放熱させ、検出パネル35に伝わらないようにし、検出パネル35に温度むらが生じるのを抑制する。【選択図】図5
