PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coffin ornament that can be used for a low-priced coffin and can exhibit a high-quality appearance, and an ornamental coffin equipped with the coffin ornament.SOLUTION: An elastic part 40 is applied with tensile force until the length dimension in the circumferential direction becomes longer than the outer periphery of a housing part 12, and in this state, the elastic part 40 is fitted externally to the outer peripheral surface around an opening 14 of the housing part 12. Upon fitting, a position of the whole peripheral edge of an ornament body 30 is adjusted to match with a position of the upper edge of peripheral walls of the housing part 12, and first fixing pieces 31 and second fixing pieces 32 of the ornament body 30 are arranged so as to hang down inside the housing part.
