The present invention relates to a high efficiency pasteurization cooling apparatus, and in particular to a high efficiency pasteurization cooling apparatus designed to keep foods fresh in the courses of manufacture and distribution of foods in which pasteurization and sterilization are performed without destroying nutrition and vitamin contained in food and changing the physical characteristics of sterilized foods, and the energy emitted to the outside can be recycled, thus sterilizing and cool-preserving foods by using less energy in a more economical method. The pasteurization cooler according to the present invention comprises a preheating water tank for preheating products, a heating water tank for heating and sterilizing the products preheated in the preheating water tank, a cooling water tank for cooling the products sterilized by the heating water tank, and a heat pump which is connected with the cooling water tank and the preheating water tank with pipes and cooling-circulates the cooling water in the cooling water tank and preheat-circulates the preheated water of the preheating water tank. In the present invention, a heat energy absorbed in the evaporator in the course that water heated in the cooling water tank circulates via the freezer is not discharged to the outside from the condenser, but is recycled in the course of pasteurization procedure, thus significantly improving heat efficiency of the pasteurization cooler, saving energy and significantly reducing energy expenses.
