The disclosure relates to a safety mask (100) comprising: a head band (110) for supporting the safety mask (100) on the head of a user； and a shield (120) rotatably coupled to the head band (110) for allowing the shield (120) to be raised up from the front of the face of the user and lowered down to the front of the face of the user, when the safety mask (100) is worn by the user； wherein the safety mask (100) comprises a first part (130) connected unrotatably to the head band (110)； the safety mask (100) comprises a second part (140) arranged rotatably in relation to the first part (130) about a rotation axis (A)； the first part (130) is connected to the shield (120) by a connecting means (150) for allowing rotation of the shield (120) in relation to the first part (130) about the rotation axis (A)； the second part (140) is connected to the shield (120) by the connecting means (150) for allowing rotation of the shield (120) in relation to the second part (140) about the rotation axis (A)； the safety mask (100) comprises a rotation limiting means (160) for limiting the rotation angle of the second part (140) in relation to the first part (130) about the rotation axis (A)； and the safety mask (100) comprises angle adjustment means (170) for adjusting the rotation angle of the shield (120) in relation to the second part (140).
