A prosthetic or orthotic sleeve (200) having a tubular body characterized in that an external surface of the body defines at least one peripheral profile portion (208, 214) having an undulating wall thickness. The peripheral profile portion comprises a plurality of projections (210, 216) extending away from an axis of the body. An interior surface (220) of the body forms at least one ring (222), and projects towards and about the body axis.
