The present disclosure relates to a shoulder prosthesis comprising a glenoidal component (12, 12', 12", 12'", 12") having a glenoidal articulation surface (16, 16') and a humeral component (14) having a humeral articulation surface (18), and a separate mobile glenohumeral bearing component (20, 20', 20", 20'", 20") comprising a glenoidal bearing surface (22, 22') and a humeral bearing surface (24, 24') arranged on opposite sides of the glenohumeral bearing component (20, 20', 20", 20'", 20"). The glenoidal bearing surface (22, 22') contacts in an implanted state the glenoidal articulation surface (16, 16') and/ or the humeral bearing surface (24, 24') contacts in an implanted state the humeral articulation surface (18). At least one of the glenoidal and humeral bearing surfaces (22, 22', 24, 24') is concave. The glenohumeral bearing component (20, 20', 20", 20'", 20") is disposed in an implanted state between the glenoidal component (12, 12', 12", 12'", 12") and the humeral component (14). Both the glenoidal and humeral articulation surfaces (16, 18) are convex.
