The present invention relates to a Burkholderia stabilis PG159 strain isolated from wood-cultivated ginseng roots and having an antibacterial activity against a ginseng plant pathogen, and a use thereof. According to the present invention, it has been confirmed that a Burkholderia stabilis PG159 strain, which is endogenous bacteria isolated from wild wood-cultivated ginseng roots, inhibits growth of a main ginseng pathogen. The Burkholderia stabilis PG159 strain of the present invention is safe for environmental ecosystems, has no drug resistance appearance, can be used as a bio-agricultural chemical for securing safety of agricultural products, and can be utilized in a wood-cultivated ginseng cultivation site through an environmentally-friendly control of major pathogens which are most problematic when cultivating a wood-cultivated ginseng. Thus, the Burkholderia stabilis PG159 strain is very useful in related industries.본 발명은 산양삼 뿌리로부터 분리한 인삼 식물병 원인균에 대해 항균 활성을 가지는 버크홀데리아 스타빌리스 PG159 균주 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에서는 산양삼 뿌리로부터 분리한 내생세균인 버크홀데리아 스타빌리스(Burkholderiastabilis) PG159 균주가 주요 인삼 병원균의 생장을 억제하는 것을 확인하였다. 본 발명의 버크홀데리아 스타빌리스(Burkholderiastabilis) PG159 균주는 환경 생태계에 안전하며, 약제저항성 출현이 없고, 농산물의 안전성을 확보하는 생물 농약으로 사용 가능하며, 산양삼 재배시 가장 문제가 되는 주요 병원균의 친환경적인 방제를 통해 산양삼 재배지에 활용이 가능하여 관련 산업에 매우 유용하다.
