The present invention provide a recombinant polypeptide based on a tandem array of repeats of the N-terminal 7 amino acids of Aβ42, preferably positioned within the active loop site of a carrier such as bacterial thioredoxin (Trx). Antibodies raised against these recombinant constructs were found to have a very strong affinity for Aβ42, opening up possibilities for diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimers disease.La présente invention porte sur un polypeptide recombiné basé sur une série de répétitions en tandem des 7 acides aminés N-terminaux de Aβ42, de préférence placés à lintérieur du site de la boucle active dun porteur tel que la thiorédoxine bactérienne (Trx). Il a été trouvé que les anticorps dirigés contre ces constructions recombinées ont une très forte affinité pour Aβ42, ce qui ouvre des possibilités pour le diagnostic et le traitement de la maladie dAlzheimer.
