The seating furniture comprises a support structure (2) and a seat part (4) with seat (6) and backrest (5). Seat part and support part are in the front end joined via a hinge (20) and in the rear end via at least one gas spring (7) tilting the seat part (4) forward so that the force from the gas spring take up a part of a user's weight when sitting down or getting up.
