PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image diagnostic apparatus which stably evaluates left ventricular dyssynchrony and is suitable for predicting an effective case of cardiac resynchronization therapy.SOLUTION: The image diagnostic apparatus, such as an X-ray CT apparatus, an MR apparatus or the like, acquires temporal changes in the myocardial wall thickness at a plurality of local regions of the heart on the basis of time-series images showing the inner structure of the heart of a subject (S5 and S6).
