PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental adhesive composition having a recalcification ability (a reparative dentinal induction ability) and excellent enamel adhesive performances.
SOLUTION: The dental adhesive composition comprises (a) a polymerizable monomer having an acidic group, (b) a polymerizable monomer, (c) a photopolymerization catalyst, and (d) a peptide having a sequence of ESQES (Glu-Ser-Gln-Glu-Ser) and a peptide having a sequence of QESQSEQDS (Gln-Glu-Ser-Gln-Ser-Glu-Gln-Asp-Ser). A preferred dental adhesive composition further comprises (e) calcium chloride.
