The present invention relates to a sound dampening device having a drying and sterilizing function. More specifically, the sound dampening device having a drying and sterilizing function comprises: a lower body formed in a shape corresponding to the inside of a bell portion of a brass wind instrument, inserted into the bell portion, vertically penetrated to form a through unit, and provided with an O-ring disposed along an outer circumference thereof an upper body wherein a lower portion thereof is opened to be mounted on an upper portion of the lower body, and a side thereof is formed in a shape of bellows to be extended downwards and a blowing fan which penetrates a middle of an upper portion of the upper body, and is rotated by supplied power to blow air into the brass wind instrument. According to the present invention, the sound dampening device is formed in a shape corresponding to the inside of the bell portion of the brass wind instrument to dampen a sound of the brass wind instrument while being inserted into the bell portion.
