PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patch preparation having an actual area of the preparation not larger than the effective area of the preparation necessary for drug releasability, which hardly causes end edge lifting when taking the preparation out from a package, and enables easy detachment of a preparation body from a release liner when in use.SOLUTION: The patch preparation includes the preparation body where an adhesive layer containing a drug is formed on one entire surface of a support, and the release liner laminated on the adhesive layer to cover the entire exposed surface of the adhesive layer of the preparation body.
