PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing composition effective for masking tobacco smell among various foul smells, especially the smell of mainstream smoke of tobacco released to the environment by smoking, especially provide a deodorizing composition capable of masking foul smell without intensifying the odor of the whole perfumery to an undesirable level in the case of mixing to a formulated flavor or producing other undesirable smell caused by the mixing to the formulated flavor. SOLUTION: The perfumery composition for eliminating tobacco smell is composed of a combination of three or more groups selected from the compounds of groups (A), (B), (C) and (D) and essential oils of the group (E). (A) An aliphatic aldehyde compound having aldehydic aroma or green aroma, (B) an aldehyde compound containing benzene ring and having fruity aroma or green aroma, (C) a ketone compound having fruity aroma or green aroma, (D) an aliphatic ester compound having fruity aroma or green aroma and (E) essential oils having green aroma, balsamic aroma, fruity aroma, amber aroma or spicy aroma.
