The pharmaceutical composition contains bacteriophages with an excipient in the form of dosage form and additionally contains water-soluble polymers and sugars the water-soluble polymers are presented by cellulose derivatives, or low- or medium-molecular polyvinyl pyrrolidones, or polyethylene glycols having molecular weight 4,000 or 6,000, or sodium alginate while the sugars are lactose and (or) mannitol the cellulose derivatives are carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt, or oxypropylmethyl cellulose, or oxypropyl cellulose the pharmaceutical composition contains the substances in the following proportions, wt %: bacteriophage with Appelmans titre not less than 10-4 calcium carbonate - 70.0-85.0 lactose and (or) mannitol - 5.0-15.0 sodium carboxymethyl cellulose - 0.1-1.0 microcrystalline cellulose - 2.0-8.0 carboxymethyl starch - 1.0-4.0 magnesium or calcium stearate - 0.25-1.0 the pharmaceutical composition can be presented in the form of tablets of 0.1 g with a gastro-resistant coating.
