Provided is a method of manufacturing a fishing line guide which has a guide ring to guide a fishing line, is attached to a pipe-shaped rod of a fishing rod, and is lightweight. The method of manufacturing a fishing line guide comprises the steps of: processing a ring support which maintains and supports the guide ring； and injection-molding an annular attachment unit having an inner circumferential surface that is fitted to an outer circumferential surface of the pipe-shaped rod. The ring support is made of a metallic thin plate. The ring support comprises: a ring maintaining unit for maintaining the guide ring； and a ring support unit formed integrally with the ring maintaining unit. The ring support unit is bent in a first bending angle with respect to a first bending unit which extends from a lower direction facing the pipe-shaped rod towards a lower end of the ring support unit.
