The present invention relates to a method for incorporating a biologically active compound, such as an antibacterial agent, into a live yeast cell cultivated under aerobic conditions, comprising: i) cultivating a live yeast cell with a biologically active compound in a hormetin rich medium at a temperature comprised between 20°C and 28°C, ii) increasing the temperature to a temperature comprised between 39°C and 43°C, and maintaining this temperature for 60 to 120 minutes, iii) increasing the temperature to a temperature comprised between 51°C and 53°C, and maintaining this temperature for 40 to 80 minutes, and iv) isolating the live yeast cell.
