Vorrichtung (1) zur trachealen Intubation und Beatmung eines Patienten zur rasch volumenkompensierenden Dichtung der Trachea, wobei die dichtenden Flächen eines vorzugsweise vollständig und residual ausgeformten, ballonartigen Folienkörpers (4) der Wandung der Trachea mit einem möglichst konstant wirkenden Dichtungsdruck des Ballons (4) anliegen, und mit geringst möglicher zeitlicher Latenz auf korrespondierende Schwankungen des Ballonfülldrucks dem am Ballon anlastenden thorakalen Druck folgen bzw. die Dichtung der Trachea unter solchen dynamischen bzw. atemsynchron alternierenden Schwankungen des Ballonfülldrucks erhalten bleibt.
