PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical drug, a quasi drug or a food product useful for improving the stiffness of a joint such as a knee joint, or material or a drug product that can be blended in the medical drug, the quasi drug or the food product.SOLUTION: In a first embodiment, a joint stiffness improving agent is provided that contains a milk-fat globule membrane as an active ingredient. In a second embodiment, a joint stiffness improving agent is provided that is identical to the joint stiffness improving agent in the first embodiment except that the milk fat globule membrane contains a phospholipid of 5-100 mass%, or sphingomyelin of 1-50 mass%.
