Machine for the formation of crushed edible product paste balls, with a paste deposit (1), a rotating cylinder (2), and a ball (4)-shaped paste intake and ejection mechanism into collection and transport means formed by an elongated tank (6) open in its upper part, transverse to the rotating cylinder (2), and filled with a ball (4) hardening solution in water, recirculated through a recirculation circuit (7) originating a current which transports the balls (4) along the tank (6). The machine also has flow variation means (11) arranged in the tank (6), which varies the water flow circulating in the tank (6) in order to change the speed of the paste ball (4) displacement along said tank (6).
