The present invention relates to antibody molecules and antigen-binding portions thereof that specifically bind to glucocorticoid-induced TNF receptors (GITR). In certain aspects of the invention, the antibody molecule specifically binds to human GITR and cynomolgus monkey GITR. Anti-GITR antibody molecules of the invention were developed and optimized using CDR sequences derived from murine anti-GITR antibody 6C8.
