PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sulfide solid electrolytic material with high Li ion conductivity.SOLUTION: A sulfide solid electrolytic material consists of glass ceramic which comprises: an ion conductor having Li, A (where A represents at least one of P, Si, Ge, Al and B) and S; LiX (where X represents halogen); and ortho-oxo acid lithium. According to X-ray diffraction measurement with Cu Kα rays, the sulfide solid electrolytic material has peaks at 2&thetas;=20.2° and 23.6°. The ortho-oxo acid lithium accounts for less than 20 mol% in the sulfide solid electrolytic material.
