This structure of the prosthesis includes a prosthetic element (1) which comprises an articulation head (5), a cup and a sliding ring (2) intended to be received in the cup, this sliding ring (2) forming an articulation cavity intended to receive the articulation head (5). According to the invention, - the core of the sliding (2) comprises a retention flange formed at the input of said articulation cavity, delimiting an opening, the minimum diameter is comprised in the range from 90 to 95% of the diameter of the articulation cavity； and - the core of the sliding (2) is assembled to the prosthetic element (1) before the implantation of the prosthesis, by insertion in the force of the articulation head (5) in the said articulation cavity.
