A patient lift system helps to lift and mobilize a disabled person in a home or in an institution with minimal effort from a caregiver. The patient lift system includes a housing enclosing a frame, a geared spool mounted within the frame, a strap, a first carry bar and a second carry bar. The first carry bar attaches to the frame and extends external to the housing. The first carry bar encloses an electric motor having a drive shaft. The dive shaft is associated with a gear arranged to cooperate with the geared spool to, responsive to activation of the motor, turn the geared spool, thereby altering an amount of strap on the geared spool, thereby altering a distance between the housing and the connector. The second carry bar attaches to the frame and extends external to the housing. The second carry bar encloses a battery to provide electrical power to the electric motor.La présente invention concerne un système de levage de patient pour lever et mobiliser une personne handicapée dans un domicile ou dans une institution avec un effort minimal d'un soignant. Le système de levage de patient comprend un boîtier renfermant un cadre, une bobine à engrenage montée à l'intérieur du cadre, une sangle, une première barre de support et une seconde barre de support. La première barre de support se fixe au cadre et s'étend à l'extérieur du boîtier. La première barre de support renferme un moteur électrique ayant un arbre d'entraînement. L'arbre d'entraînement est associé à un engrenage agencé pour coopérer avec la bobine à engrenage pour, en réponse à l'activation du moteur, tourner la bobine à engrenage, ce qui permet de modifier une quantité de sangle sur la bobine à engrenage, modifiant ainsi une distance entre le boîtier et le connecteur. La seconde barre de support se fixe au cadre et s'étend à l'extérieur du boîtier. La seconde barre de support renferme une batterie pour fournir de l'énergie électrique au moteur électrique.
