PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an implant which has a favorable roughened surface, and a shot material of which is properly removed.SOLUTION: Basically, in the method for manufacturing the implant, the surface is roughened by using the sand blast method using the shot material containing fluoroapatite. Although the fluoroapatite is inferior in the field of bio-compatibility compared with an apatite hydroxide, the fluoroapatite has an excellent hardness. In the meantime, the fluoroapatite has a characteristic being easily dissolved with an acid. Therefore, by roughening the surface of the implant by the sand blast method using the shot material containing the fluoroapatite, an extremely good surface roughness is imparted, and also, the residual shot material can easily be removed with acid.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】 本発明は,良好な粗面を有し,ショット材が適切に除去されるインプラントの製造方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】 本発明は,基本的には,フルオロアパタイトを含有するショット材を用いたサンドブラスト法を用いて表面を粗面処理するインプラントの製造方法などに関する。フルオロアパタイトは,水酸アパタイトに比べて生体親和性の面では劣るものの,優れた硬度を有する。一方,酸により容易に溶解するという性質を有する。よって,フルオロアパタイトを含有するショット材を用いたサンドブラスト法により,インプラント表面を粗面処理することで,極めて良好な表面粗さを有し,また酸により残留ショット材を容易に除去できることとなる。【選択図】 なし
