PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound healing agent which suppresses bacterial growth, promotes granulation tissue formation and epithelization, and suppresses secondary hemorrhage.SOLUTION: Provided is a wound healing agent comprising a protein (A) having a GAGAGS sequence (1) and the following amino acid sequence (X) and/or the following amino acid sequence (X), and water, wherein a ratio of a total of a &bgr turn structure and a random coil structure in (A) measured by circular dichroism spectrum method is 40 to 60%, a ratio of a total of a number of amino acids in all (X) and a number of amino acids of all (X) to a total number of amino acids in (A) is 5 to 45%, and a ratio of a number of amino acids in all the sequences (1) to a total number of amino acids in (A) is 40 to 80%. The amino acid sequence (X) is: at least one amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of three kinds of specific sequences. The amino acid sequence (X) is: an amino acid sequence wherein a specific number of amino acids in (X) is substituted with ricin and/or arginine.
