A sprayable pesticidal or herbicidal composition comprises inert carrierparticles having supported thereon a fungalgrowth. The fungal growth comprises mycelium that is grown on the particlesusing a solid state fermentation process. The particlesare provided in a dry state and can be suspended in a liquid carrier for sprayapplication when needed. The invention also providesfor a thickening agent that increases the viscosity of the spray solution soas to prevent sedimentation of the particles.
