PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice composition containing ascorbic acid or a derivative thereof, in which a formulation of the composition shows a good surface state and good moldability over time and also has a good taste.SOLUTION: A dentifrice composition contains (A) ascorbic acid or a derivative thereof and has a pH of 8 or more.
