An objective of this invention is to use a nasul spray nozzle for a metered-dose syringe type squirt, to realize desived spraying properties when spraying a drug formulation having predetermined properties.One aspect of the present invention relates to a nasal spray nozzle with use of a medical syringe having a syringe barrel filled with drug formulation and a tip opening in fluid communication with the syringe barrel. The nasal spray nozzle comprises a hollow nozzle body having a tip portion with a nozzle orifice, a solid loading rod positioned within the hollow nozzle body, and a nozzle chamber defined between the loading rod and the nozzle body being in fluid communication between the tip opening and the nozzle orifice, wherein the drug formulation contains a gel base including a carboxy-vinyl polymer and a viscosity modifier, of which viscosity is modified by externally applying shear force therein, and wherein the nozzle orifice has a diameter between 0.25mm through 0.30mm.本發明之目的為使用定量注射器型噴出器所用之點鼻用噴霧噴嘴，在對具有預定特性的製劑進行噴霧時，實現期望之噴霧特性。本發明係有關醫療用注射器所用之點鼻用噴霧噴嘴，該醫療用注射器係具有與收容製劑之注射器筒身中進行流體流通的前端開口部。該點鼻用噴霧噴嘴之特徵為，具備：具有形成噴嘴噴出孔之前端部的中空噴嘴本體部、配置於噴嘴本體部內的實心充填桿、以及形成在充填桿與噴嘴本體部之間且在前端開口部與噴嘴噴出孔之間進行流體連通的噴嘴室；製劑含有凝膠基劑，該凝膠基劑包含羧基乙烯基聚合物及黏度調節劑，且為經從外部施予剪切力而調整過黏度者；噴嘴噴出孔具有0.25mm至0.30mm之直徑。
