The monitoring system comprises at least two housings (201, 202) linked together mechanically in a flexible manner so as to conform to the shape of a part of the body, at least one flexible linking facility (211, 212) for mechanically linking the two housings, a data acquisition and wireless communication module (222) stored in one of the two housings and a movement detection module (221) installed in one of the two housings.
