PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin preparation for external use, having a high over time stability of a compound having an ester bond in spite of blending gellan gum.SOLUTION: In the skin preparation for external use, blended with the gellan gum, it is ascertained that the compound having the ester bond decomposes over time. By examining the cause of the decomposition, it is ascertained that the gellan gum has an enzymatic activity, and the enzyme causes the decomposition of the compound having the ester bond. By examining the method for inactivating the enzymatic activity of the gellan gum in order to maintain the quality of the skin preparation for external use, the enzymatic activity of the gellan gum can be inactivated by heating at &ge100°C, or adjusting the pH of the skin preparation for external use, as &le6.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】ジェランガムを配合しているにもかかわらず、エステル結合を有する化合物の経時安定性が高い皮膚外用剤を提供することができる。【解決手段】ジェランガムを配合した皮膚外用剤において、経時的にエステル結合を有する化合物が分解することを確認した。この原因について検討を行ったところ、ジェランガムに酵素活性があり、この酵素が原因でエステル結合を有する化合物が加水分解されていたことが確認された。皮膚外用剤の品質維持のため、ジェランガムの酵素活性を失活させる方法を検討したところ、100℃以上で加熱する、もしくは皮膚外用剤のpHを6以下に調整することでジェランガムの酵素活性を失活させることができた。【選択図】なし
