PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ear thermometer capable of accurately and easily inserting a probe into an ear cavity of a subject.SOLUTION: An ear thermometer 100 comprises: a probe 101 formed by a hollow cylindrical body and inserted into an ear cavity and mounting parts 102, 104 having mounting functions 106-108 for being mounted on a finger of a measurer and supporting the probe 101 so that a support position of the probe 101 is located facing a palm face of an end joint part of a finger of the measurer when the ear thermometer is mounted on the finger of the measurer by using the mounting functions 106-108.
