PURPOSE: A sustained release formulation containing solid dispersion containing polyvinyl pyrrolidone(PVP) and sustained release substrate is provided to improve mosapride release and to enhance bioavailability. CONSTITUTION: A sustained release formulation contains a solid dispersion containing mosapride, polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP) and sustained release polymers in a ratio of 1:3:1-3. The sustained release polymer is EUDRAGIT RS PO, EUDRAGIT RL PO, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC), or KOLLIDON SR. The solid dispersion is prepared by dissolving mosapride, PVP, and sustained release polymers in alcohol and evaporating at 30-50°；C. The sustained release formulation is a tablet for oral administration.본 발명은 모사프라이드를 유효성분으로 함유하는 서방성 제제에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 모사프라이드에 폴리비닐피롤리돈(PVP)와 서방성 기제를 포함하는 고체분산체를 포함하는 서방성 제제에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 서방성 제제는 모사프라이드를 폴리비닐피롤리돈 및 서방성 고분자와 함께 혼합하여 고체분산체의 형태로 제조함으로써 결정성 약물이 무정형으로 변환되어 난용성 약물인 모사프라이드의 용출 향상 및 생체이용율을 증가시키고, 고체분산체 제조에 사용된 고분자의 종류 및 사용량을 조절함으로써 용출률 및 제어방출 형태를 조절하여 모사프라이드의 증가된 용출률을 장시간 지속시킬 수 있어 서방성 경구용 제제로서 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
