PURPOSE: A multipurpose red pepper dryer is provided to dry red pepper with hot air by perforating fine holes on the surface of the red pepper, and to induce the activation of moisture in the red pepper using infrared rays and the wave with high frequency. CONSTITUTION: A multipurpose pepper dryer comprises: a body equipped with a conveying means(120) to transfer and supply red pepper, which is supplied through a hopper(240) located in the upper part of a supplying part, into a drying chamber by perforating the area between a supplying part(130) and the drying chamber； a perforation device(200) which is installed on the upper part of the supplying part to be corresponded to a discharge hole of the hopper, and which supplies the red pepper to the conveying means while perforating fine holes on the surface of the red pepper once peppers are poured into the hopper； a heat pump(300) which dries the red pepper transferred into the drying chamber using the conveying means； an infrared ray ramp(400) which dries the red pepper transferred by the conveying means with the high frequency wave； and a high frequency generation apparatus(500) which activates the moisture of the red peppers which are transferred by the conveying means.본 발명은 고추를 건조하는 고추건조기에 관한 것으로, 좀더 상세하게는 고추의 표면으로 미세한 구멍을 뚫는 천공장치를 구비하여 고추의 건조시간을 단축함과 동시에 상기 천공장치에서 구멍이 뚫린 고추를 컨베이어에 투입시켜 순차적으로 히트펌프를 이용한 열풍건조와 함께 원적외선 및 고주파를 이용해 고추 내부의 수분이 활성화 되도록 유도함으로써, 히트펌프을 통한 에너지의 절감과 함께 원적외선 및 고주파를 통해 살균, 탈취, 향균 작용을 통한 고추 본연의 색과 향을 유지할 수 있는 다목적 고추건조기에 관한 것이다.이러한 본 발명에 따르면, 천공장치가 고추건조기의 투입구에 구비되어 상기 천공장치를 이용해 고추의 표피층에 미세한 구멍이 뚫어짐에 따라 열풍건조가 고추 내부까지 고르게 이루어짐으로써, 고추 외부와 내부가 고르게 건조되는 효과가 있다.
