PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller bearing for a dental hand piece with excellent efficiency in the heat radiation for reducing the cost necessary for the surface treatment of an outer wheel and a flange.SOLUTION: This roller bearing 10 is used for the dental hand piece which comprises a hand piece to be grasped by a dentist in the dental treatment and a head part mounted at the distal end of the hand piece. Various kinds of rotary cutting tools can be detachably attached to the head part. The head part is rotatably supported via the roller bearing, and comprises a rotary shaft to which a rotary cutting tool can be detachably attached, and a rotor for rotating the rotary shaft. The roller bearing comprises an inner wheel 26 and the outer wheel 28 facing each other to be relatively rotatable and a plurality of rollers 30 arranged to roll between the inner and outer wheels.
