PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seedling transplanter suppressing the projecting amount of a grip at the front part of a machine body so that the grip hardly contacts the levee side during turning travel while the grip can be easily put into a use form when in use and easily put into a push-down operation.SOLUTION: A planting apparatus 1 is liftably provided at the rear part of a traveling vehicle body 2. A bumper plate 6 formed with a grip hole 3 and a grip part 4 is provided in a longitudinally slidable manner at the front part of the traveling vehicle body 2. The grip hole 3 of the bumper plate 6 is provided with a front arm 7 derrickingly turning up and down to push down the front part of the vehicle body 2.
