PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-animal net stretching method and an anti-animal net excellent in snow countermeasures.SOLUTION: An anti-animal net stretching method is a stretching method for an anti-animal net N for preventing intrusion of small animals and beasts. A net n is stretched on a hanging rope 3 supported by a first pillar 1 and a second pillar 2 erected on the ground G. The hanging rope 3 is formed of an elastic member, and is attached to the first pillar 1 and the second pillar 2 in a tensioned state. When snow adhering to the net n becomes a lump, and a load of the snow is applied to the net n, the hanging rope 3 bends.
