A composition is disclosed comprising: (a) a pigment, (b) 0.1 to 10 wt % of a hyperbranched or dendrimer hydrophilic polymer, (c) a film forming polymer different from (b), wherein said composition comprises a polar solvent present in an amount of up to 95 wt %. Said compositions find use in the area of cosmetics and result in products that have improved properties such as at least one of increased wear resistance, coating flexibility, spreadability and reduced colour loss.
