A manufacturing process of collagen fiber and collagen fiber made thereby are disclosed, wherein the manufacturing process comprises the following steps: (A) preparing a fiber raw material solution comprising fiber raw material (B) preparing a collagen solution comprising collagen. Based on 100 parts by weight of the fiber raw material, the collagen is 5 to 10 parts by weight (C) mixing the fiber raw material solution and the collagen solution into a spinning solution, and using the wet spinning method to make the spinning solution into collagen fibers.
