A multipurpose dental patient drape has been proposed for expediting work in the operative by facilitating the work of dentist, dental-chair assistant as well as patient. The present invention proposes a patient drape having one or more means to hold dental instruments/equipment required during a clinical dentistry procedure. The drape also has a means at the distal end of the drape away from the hands of the dentist and the dental assistant for placing the patient’s personal belongings like mobile phone, car keys, sun-glasses etc. The drape proposed by the present invention augments clinical working environment in a sit-down or four-handed dental practice and thus expedites the working in the operative field for dentist, dental chair-side assistant and the patient.
