<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate conversion work in performing the conversion work for converting a wheelchair into an electric wheelchair by linking an electric unit to a manually-operated wheelchair. <；P>；SOLUTION: The electric unit for driving a wheelchair is attachably/removably fitted to the manually-operated wheelchair 1 and drives the wheelchair 1 to move. The electric unit 2 is provided with: a handle post 20 which extends in the longitudinal direction near at the back of the wheelchair 1 and has its lower part removably linked to the back part of the wheelchair 1 with a link tool 19； an electric driving device 21 supported by a lower end part of the handle post 20； driving wheels 22 which are supported by the electric driving device 21, driven by the electric driving device 21, and can roll on a road surface 16； a battery 23 which is supported by the handle post 20 and can supply the electric driving device 21 with power； and a handle 24 fitted to an upper end part of the handle post 20. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
