PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition containing an amino acid which is intended to improve endurance and prevent, mitigate, or relieve the fatigue in athletic competitions needing endurance such as a cycling game and/or physical labor or the like over a long period of time, and also having anti-obesity effect stemming from lipid metabolism excitation.
SOLUTION: The amino acid composition comprises 3,000 pts.wt. of an amino acid mixture comprising 4-30 mol proline, 4-16 mol alanine, 7-25 mol glycine, 4-16 mol valine, 2-15 mol threonine, 2-12 mol leucine, 5 mol or less histidine, 5 mol or less serine, 5-12 mol lysine, 3-9 mol isoleucine, 4 mol or less glutamic acid, 5 mol or less arginine, 0.5-5 mol phenylalanine, 1-9 mol tyrosine, 5 mol or less tryptophan, 1 mol or less aspartic acid and 5 mol or less methionine, 50-1,000 pts.wt. of L-carnitine and 10-300 pts.wt. of coenzyme Q10.
