PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic equipment that does not affect diagnosis even when a circuit such as a transmission circuit deteriorates, and a self-diagnostic method thereof.SOLUTION: A transmission part 30 includes first to third transmission circuits 30a-30c. A reception part 32 includes first to third reception circuits 32a-32c. In a calibration mode, both of transmission/reception switching parts 31 and 33 are brought into a closed state, and the first transmission circuit 30a and the first reception circuit 32a are brought into a connection state. The first transmission circuit 30a transmits a test signal to the first reception circuit 32a. A self-diagnostic part 60 of a central control circuit 34 determines a state of the first transmission circuit 30a based on the test signal received by the first reception circuit 32a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
