The invention relates to a heel protection device (1) including a foam part (2) for covering the heel when wearing the device, and a textile material (4) covering the foam part (2) and maintaining said part (2) around the heel when wearing the device. The foam part (2) is arranged so that the underside and the upper portion of the foot are not covered by said foam part (2) when wearing the device.
