The present invention relates to a composition for coating keratin fibres, in the form of a wax-in-water emulsion comprising, in a first continuous aqueous phase, at least one legume starch having an amylose content greater than or equal to 30%, at least one plasticiser chosen among the polyols, at least one wax, at least one emulsifier and at least one colouring agent. The invention also relates to the use of such a composition in order to provide keratin fibres, in particular eyelashes, with a lengthening and curling effect.La présente invention a pour objet une composition de revêtement des fibres kératiniques, se présentant sous la forme d'une émulsion cire-dans-eau comprenant, dans une phase continue aqueuse, au moins un amidon de légumineuse présentant une teneur en amylose supérieure ou égale à 30 %, au moins un plastifiant choisi parmi les polyols, au moins une cire, au moins un agent émulsionnant, et au moins un agent de coloration. L'invention se rapporte également à l'utilisation d'une telle composition pour conférer aux fibres kératiniques, en particulier aux cils, un effet allongeant et recourbant.
