PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onion skin peeling machine in which a root core and a bud core of an onion are cut off, the onion formed with a slit extended on a skin longitudinally and finished with pre-processing is mounted on a roller, and the skin is peeled off by a compressed air during rotation of the roller, the skin peeling device that can perform skin peeling quickly and reliably.SOLUTION: An onion skin peeling machine is characterized by: mounting the onion formed with a slit on a skin between rollers 31, 32 respectively provided in a pair of parallel rotating shafts in the front and rear making the onion roll by the rotation of the roller and spraying a compressed air on the onion in the rolling from the upper part to peel off the skin. In the onion skin peeling machine, the roller has a contact surface gradually becoming a smaller diameter closely to the center from left and right side surfaces becoming the outside and coming into contact with the onion.
