PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus where the soundness of an insertion part side electrode is kept even when an adapter is removed from an endoscope insertion part.
SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with an endoscope insertion part 2 to be inserted to a patient a mounting surface 13 which is provided at the endoscope insertion part 2 and to which an adaptor 12 having an adapter side electrode is mounted detachably and the insertion part side electrode 32 which is provided at the endoscope insertion part 2 and which is connected electrically with an adapter side electrode when the adapter 12 is mounted to the mounting surface 13. The insertion part side electrode 32 is positioned on the inner side of the endoscope insertion part 2 with respect to the mounting surface 13.
