<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perimeter capable of making the luminance on the retina of an examined eye suitable for examination regardless of the diameter of the pupil. <；P>；SOLUTION: The perimeter comprises pupil diameter measuring means 33, 37, 42 and 43 for measuring the pupil diameter D1 of the eye to be examined； a pupil area computing means 21 for computing the pupil area S1 from the measured pupil diameter； lamp output determining means 21 and 30 for determining the output of a lamp so that the luminance on the retina of the eye to be examined is a prescribed luminance suitable for examination； and a lamp control means 41 for driving/controlling the lamp with the determined lamp output. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
